This is the first set of the “Ten hand sets of Shaolin”. These ten sets are practiced in ascending order, 1 through 10; however, you learn them in a different order from simplest to most complex. The first three sets are long and very rigorous, requiring freshness. The central five sets (Shaolin #4 through #8) are shorter, with more explosive combinations. The last two sets are the most sophisticated and challenging. Tun Da introduces you to two standard northern leg techniques: the tornado kick and the broom sweep.
